jonomite 29
I can't get Emby for Kodi to display Movie art for one of my movies. This issue was triggered when I initially deleted the movie in Emby, and then re-added it. I noticed after that the movie didn't seem to re-sync to Kodi initially. It subsequently has; however, when I play the move in Kodi, there is no Movie art whatsoever that will display. Oddly, if I start playing the movie from the Information screen, from the MovieDB info screen, or using the Emby play option, the art DOES display. However, if I just play from the Main Menu, no Movie art appears. I've tried troubleshooting this issue in several different ways to no avail: I've refreshed Metadata and images in Emby; I've manually synced the Movies library in Emby for Kodi; I've done a repair of the Movies library in Emby for Kodi; I've deleted the Movie through the Emby menu in Emby for Kodi. Any ideas on what's going on?
sualfred 677
Something is totally messed up. Have you tried to drop the movie library and resync it from scratch? Not only a repair.
jonomite 29
Do you mean deleting the library and then re-adding it? As opposed to just doing a repair? I haven't have. Will give that a shot. Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk
jonomite 29
Unfortunately this didn't work either. What a totally weird and inexplicable problem. Do I really have to do a full database reset? At this point I'm not even confident that will work. Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk
sualfred 677
Never had a issue like that, so it's hard to say what's causing it. I don't think a log will help, because it works from a regular library. But it doesn't hurt, so please provide one.
jonomite 29
Went ahead and did a full database reset. That did the trick. Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk
