hergo 0
Hello, Version : DSM 6.2.2-24922 Update 3 I am new to this community, I try to separate from PLEX after many years of loyalty. I found myself installing EMBY here a few days. However, I must admit that I have a big problem. On my film base he can not find most of my films (That means he finds all the same). The thumbnail remains an image taken from the movie and the name of the movie is the name of the file. I just watched your forum and I realize that by watching the log this night, I just took part for 3 movies. Thanks you for your help. 2019-09-04 23:32:09.814 Info App: [LinuxMount] Checking we can attempt to mount [/volume1/video/Films/Archives/News03/(1967).Si.J.Etais.Un.Espion.FR.AC3.avi], Extension = Happy2Play 8296
yes : (1981).Beau-Pere.FR.AC3.mkv Have you ever tried going directly to TMDB or OMDB and entering that name into their search? How is Emby suppose to know how to parse that naming scheme and provide a proper query to OMDB or TMDB? You will only get a returned results with "Beau-Pere" via TMDB or OMDB. Now if you had movie folders, the file can be named however you like. \Films\Beau-Pere (1981)\(1981).Beau-Pere.FR.AC3.mkv
hergo 0
The trouble is that I have a lot of movies in this format, the cleaning by hand is impossible. It goes very well under Plex how do they do it? And yes directly on TMDB it works: https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/42337-beau-p-re?language=fr-FR
Happy2Play 8296
The trouble is that I have a lot of movies in this format, the cleaning by hand is impossible. It goes very well under Plex how do they do it? And yes directly on TMDB it works: https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/42337-beau-p-re?language=fr-FR But what did you search with? I know you did not search "(1981).Beau-Pere.FR" or even "Beau-Pere.FR" as you already know from the log that is the query Emby is sending. That is a good question on how Plex does it, if they can identify off that. With that naming scheme Emby would have to know it need to strip the (year) and the trailing .FR and anything else you may have since the name is "Beau-Pere". But how is Emby suppose to know that?
