WonkoTheSane 11
Hi all, I'm on version 4.2.1.0. I'm dealing with very frequent crashes when searching the library using the web interface. This seems to be happening more frequently when I'm playing back content in one browser window and searching in a different browser window. I haven't found anything interesting in my log files. WonkoTheSane 11
Hello Luke, I just tried it out. After 3 or 4 different searches I saw another crash. See attached log for details. embyserver-63702528899.zip
WonkoTheSane 11
Hello Luke, just letting you know that search is still causing EmbyServer crashes on version 4.3.30. I just ran 2 searches. The first one was successful, the second one caused my EmbyServer docker to terminate. I've attached the log to this post. Solution Luke 37118 Posted December 11, 2019 Solution Share Posted December 11, 2019 Actually I believe this is your issue: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/69167-emby-server-4010-crashing-on-music-playback/?p=692461 We'll have a release in the coming weeks that will update to .net core 3.0, but that thread provides a workaround for immediate relief if needed.
WonkoTheSane 11
Looks like you're right. I followed the instructions given for the workaround and haven't seen any search related crashes since. Thanks!
