IncariOne 0 Posted August 13, 2019 Share Posted August 13, 2019 Hi ! I use Emby to watch videos from a distant server. It works perfectly on my Samsung S2 tablet. My problem is that it doesn't work when I want to stream the video on my tv using a Chromecast Ultra. I have an image on the screen but the video doesn't start. My Chromecast Ultra works perfectly with Netflix or YouTube but not with Emby. Can someone help me ? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I tried for at least a week without any results... I read a lot of topics here but i'm sorry to say that i'm still unable to find where the logs are hidden on my tablet. Will try again... Sorry Happy2Play but I'm not a specialist at all and I don't understand what it means... The server is not mine and its adress looks like https://********.com I suppose I cannot modify anything to the server. I use Emby app on a S2 Samsung tablet and Google Home app for my Chromecast Ultra. Netflix works fine on Chromecast, YouTube either, but not Emby... I don't know why and I don't know what to do... This is where I was going to eventually go. @@IncariOne, if your Chromecast never displays anything, then this means that although your mobile device can connect to your Chromecast, your Chromecast cannot connect to your Emby Server. You're saying this is someone else's server? We may need their involvement in order to troubleshoot this. It could be an issue of general connectivity, or it could be that Chromecast is rejecting their SSL certificate. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
