movies library won't populate, but tv shows work fine. how do i troubleshoot this?

Have you explored the resume settings for your movie library. It works exactly the way you've told us to in the settings for your library.

3 years later and this problem still exists. In my case it was files with unknown extension. This should not affect a whole scan.
