simonselmer 21 Posted June 22, 2019 Share Posted June 22, 2019 Hi all I restarted Emby on my Synology yesterday after a plugin update. I did not check that it worked after. Today I cannot access Emby at all. So I cannot get into Emby GUI to restart it. I searched for how to solve, but could not find this fairly easy solution that worked for me, so wanted to share it here, so more people perhaps will find it faster. The solution is simple to restart the Emby app on the Synology. Restarting the Synology box itself would probably do that same thing, but perhaps you dont want to do that. But it is not quite intuitive how to restart an App on Synology, unless you have do it before, so just follow these simple steps here: https://www.howtogeek.com/322201/how-to-stop-andrestart-applications-on-your-synology-nas/ This is actually not the first time Emby on Synology has not worked after the first restart, after an update?! But it needed a second restart some time.
