Problems playing interlaced videos

Hey,
 
I recently noticed I have trouble playing interlaced videos (straight DVB-S recordings) through Emby for Kodi. The file plays fine as a file in Kodi and also plays fine in Emby itself. But if I try to play it in Kodi through the Emby plugin, it fails:

Is the url valid? Is it suppose to transcode the file?

No, there should be no transcoding - I have it all disabled in Emby. Not sure what to tell you about the URL, it does seem valid, but more importantly non-interlaced videos play just fine from this same Emby server.
