JeremyG 20 Posted June 14, 2019 Share Posted June 14, 2019 Here's what I want to solve: I regularly add and remove movies from my Emby Server. (I dont have infinite HDD space!) However I also allow a couple of family members to access my server remotely. I dont want to delete something from my server if one of my brothers was intending to watch something. This would allow me to tell them "if you want to watch something, mark it as a favorite". This way as long as I delete via Emby UI (and not file system) I wont delete something they want to watch. 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
chef 3745 Posted June 14, 2019 Share Posted June 14, 2019 (edited) Be careful, if you delete from the Emby UI, the physical media will be put in your recycle bin. Then the option would be "don't allow deletion of any queued items". In fact I know for me the idea of Favorites, is kind of outdated, and I'd much rather have a queue. For me you could just rename Favorites to Queue, add a "Queue" channel, and I'd be happy.
