JotNarayan 4
good morning friends I have a question. My sister has been offered second-hand Samsung TV UE48J5500AK (I think AK is 2016?). Do you know if Emby works well with this model ?, according to your opinion, I recommended him or not to buy it.
FrostByte 5049
Actually, the letter you want to look at is the J = 2015 You can also look at the link below as the TV is in the 2015 Standard 2 model group https://developer.samsung.com/tv/develop/specifications/tv-model-groups I know @@CBers has that model Also, do you live in the UK or Ireland? E = Europe so I guess you're close. The reason I ask is that the app is only available in those two countries right now until a secure side-load method is worked out Edited May 28, 2019 by FrostByte
SamES 890
It's a 2015 model. According to the model specs it is a Tizen model so it is supported. There's actually an Emby app for older (non-Orsay) models as well, but it won't receive updates moving forward. I think this is a UK model, and I can't recall if it's released to the official app store in the UK, but there are ways around that. I'm not aware of anyone raising concerns with function or performances with J series models. @@FrostByte, just beat me to it Edited May 28, 2019 by SamES

CBers 6771
Yes, but it's only a 32". In any case, I don't have the Emby app installed, as there is a Shield connected to it
