JotNarayan 4
Good afternoon... I just tried to create a new folder for mp3 music and it works 100% from any device, except the Smart-LG TV. On this device, it plays a song and the Emby app for LG is reset by resetting the system. I had read more than a year ago that this issue would be fixed, but I can verify that in the latest version of the LG app it still fails. Is there any forecast of settlement? JotNarayan 4
hi there, can you please describe exactly what you mean by this? Thanks ! I detail the steps followed. 1-Created new media library for "music" 2-Added an album with 16 songs in mp3 format 3-They are reproduced correctly from PC, mobile phone, all followed, without any pause. 4-Since LG Smart TV does not work well: 5-I play the first song without problems, and at the end, pauses for more than two minutes. Sometimes after this period of time, jump to the second song and play it, but in most cases after these more than two minutes of pause, Emby LG restarts and jumps to the Emby home screen. On the occasions that he is able to play a second song after that long pause, he is no longer able to continue and the software is restarted. This is the problem. The server runs on a Synology DS418Play Edited May 16, 2019 by JotNarayan

Can you also attach the media info for a couple of files? If possible, you can send me a private message with a link where I can download some of these from you (dropbox, google drive) as I suspect it may be an issue with the format of the file which I will need to confirm and test to see if we can resolve. I just sent you a private one with the link. I played a song, and at the end there was a delay until Emby was reset to the main screen. The song has begun at 8:27 pm and at 8:31 pm it has been reset. My TV model is: LG Smart TV (43UF6807-ZA)
SamES 891
Thanks, I'll take a look. This is an older webos 2.0 TV which may be part of the problem. I'll let you know what I find. Edited May 18, 2019 by SamES

SamES 891
I've tried to reproduce this problem using your samples but have had no success. Can you please test a sample again, then send me a copy of the server log and any ffmpeg logs? Can you also check the server Dashboard during playback and confirm that it is DirectPlaying? When you play any of the songs individually, I assume they start playing quickly. Is it only when the next song in the playlist starts that there is a long delay? Thanks

Thanks Confirmed: it is DirectPlaying And indeed, the first song plays quickly without pause. The problem begins at the end of that first song, which is when he pauses for almost 2 minutes. From here you can randomly jump to the second song, or reset the Emby app on the TV and jump to the initial screen. What you ask is what I already sent you. Exactly, I played a couple of games and during the almost 2 minute break the system was restarted.
SamES 891
It looks like the file you sent me just had .url file links but no actual log file. You need to open the logs folder on the server and manually attach the log file. Just let me know roughly the time of your test so I can find it in the file.
