I need some help here. My internet speed is 112mbs and upload is 12 but no matter what I play emby on it lags and buffers. Iv tried on xbox firestick laptop kodi apple tablet and my phone all the same issue iv already called spectrum and confirmed I'm not being throttled in any way. Can anyone give me some advice on how to fix this?

If watching at home your internet has nothing to do with it. What about your home network? What is your server?

I use baconfeet and monkey device both are having the same issue

sounds like a baconfeet issue.  what happens if you change the bitrate?  if nothing changes, talk to them.

I'm talking with them now and iv changed it all the way down to 1mbs with the same issue been going on for about a month. One wierd this is when I change the rate it starts to work for a little while then buffers but when I change it again it runs for a while with no issues. 1 45 minute episode I'll have to change the rate 5 to 7 times to get threw it

Ya I dont know that info baconfeet made a few changes and it worked for about 3hrs now I'm back to the buffering again. U was wondering if the firestick can handle emby well or not I might switch to the nvidia shield better specs than the firestick

Yes the Shield may perform better as it has more horsepower. Thanks.
