Polyzp_emby 3
Using latest roku client beta Using emby server 4.0.2 Roku ultra 4640x Searching show title, ex) "big bang theory" , results in only "unknown" results listed one after another. The thing is, it actually does search , and gives correct results based on the search. This is evident when selecting one of the "unknowns" -- which yields a big bang theory episode currently playing on live tv. Interestingly, when the channel name itself is searched, ex) E4 , it will show the programs playing on the channel correctly (not unknowns - see attached) What could be going on? I would like emby roku to behave properly (as shown in attached image - when channel name itself is searched) when making a search for program title "big bang theory" , and for it to show labeled results, and not just "unknowns" with time stamps. Any help would be most appreciated! If you need me to send more screenshots and/or a log, let me know! Thanks! speechles 1917
You want episode thumbs to show instead of those "tv with antenna" placeholder images? We can look into improving that programs view and the search view. Thank you for giving us the image showing exactly what you meant. Polyzp_emby 3
I think you might have mistaken the issue. To summarize: The first image attached below is what shows when searching "big bang theory" .. Selecting the first option results in the second image attached here. Why isnt the information showing properly, and instead shows unknown? It should appear as it does when searching the channel name itself (seen attached in original post in this thread) Thank you for looking into this **Edit: The actual thumbnail being blank is not what I was discussing. Instead, im trying to determine why it shows "unknown" as the description, rendering the search items impossible to navigate. ddurdle 75
I think it is an issue with the emby app on that platform, as searching via chrome yields the actual values. See attached.
Polyzp_emby 3
Can confirm the search values are also correct in the emby app for android.
