georgeemby 0
Hi, I'm trying to add library for a child on his ipad. I don't know about other children but my boy definitely does not care about codec, anamorphic and interlaced (between many others . I can see the "long touch" menu - but its counter-intuitive, really. May I suggest - even for the adult user interface - the video "options" section should really be an "option" - not a default. Whether you want to make a playlist/collection or see video details etc - fine, make an effort to get those "non-play" options. But if you just want to watch the video - just play it without forcing the user into an unnecessary screen. My two cents Anyway - question: Is there any way option (code customisation) to allow emby just "touch and play" the videos? Any idea appreciated, Thank you very much indeed. Luke 37253
Hi, what options are you referring to?
georgeemby 0
When you click on a thumbnail (within any library) - video doesn't play, it just shows the screen containing: - thumbnail again - title - resume, play, tick, heart, three dots - Media info (Video Audio)
georgeemby 0
To explain myself better, to play a video, my boy has to: 1. click on a library 2. click on a video thumbnail 3. reach "the screen with all buttons" 4. click the word "Play" And my question is if we can just play the video after point 2 (?) Luke 37253
I suppose an option could be possible for that.
georgeemby 0
I do hope to get such option. I tried this workaround https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/59740-1-click-to-start-video/?p=585953 and it works on Windows but no joy on iOS - I assume because there is no "hover" action.
