denz 426
I really not sure what you call the settings or options above the play button the subtitle, audio and video settings. It uses far too much screen real estate on the iphone, android, roku, emby theater. They are there for international users I am also international user as well and all these settings I set in the global setting so I don't want them to appear again but some users want them there so it should be an option to satisfy both camps. Apple tv has a button for these settings and it looks so much better. These settings/options are not available on Apple TV and now Android TV (they were there last week but gone yesterday and it looks so much nicer without them) Overall Apple TV looks so much nicer on the eye than Android TV but Android TV is fully useable whereas Apple TV is not. For inspiration to emby theatre it should look to Apple TV which definitely doesn't look like a web page. Android TV doesn't have flat icons whereas Apple TV and Emby theater do and that is one of the reasons it looks nicer. The Apple TV picture doesn't do it justice how beautiful it looks on the tv. arrbee99 1560
Sounds perfectly reasonable to me. Personally I'm happy with the Android version, but then I haven't got an Apple anything to compare it with. Obviously would be nice to accompany it with the ability to actually see the background. ebr 14912
Hi. Exactly what do you mean by "flat icons"?
denz 426
Easy unless my eyes are deceiving me in Apple TV and theatre it is a solid colour whereas in Android tv it has a gradient so they appear slightly 3d.

denz 426
in android tv it is called show pre-playback media selections hopefully that can be added to all the apps not just Android Tv. Great work to Android TV devs this app is definitely production ready hopefully the other apps start getting the attention roku is close behind.
