alturismo 37
Hi, may a question, any reason why the trakt plugin on emby doesnt seem to sync the view progress ? sample, trakt installed on emby and kodi start watching on emby, stop in the middle, open kodi and it will sync the watch state and you can continue ... vice vers that aint working here at least ... what is working is the played or unplayed state. alturismo 37
actually i dont think its a bug, its just not implemented ... was already started here https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/65419-trakt-3280-not-importing-playstates/page-2 simple, see attachements, emby started to play game of thrones, plex started to play walking dead and supernatural. playstate from game of thrones -> plex grabs it and you can continue watching playstate from walking dead -> emby doesnt grab it ... both live syncing playback to trakt (see attachements), i just never saw emby syncing the playstate, only the watched status (seen, unseen) so the question is, is it even integrated ? alturismo 37
@J2ghz may just a question, while its on todo list, upper on the list or "something for sometime" ?, just considering if its worth the effort to check for an api solution from the other playback source to also send the playstate to emby in some way. not pushing here, if you busy or its somewhere l8 on todo i ll check here for an api call then for now. thanks ahead for a small note and this nice plugin. alturismo 37
@@J2ghz thanks alot for adding watch state sync., now as usual, its never enough question, the trakt task to import watch states, possible to shorten the time ? currently lowest setting is 15 minutes, would be nice to lower it. explenation as sample starting to watch on a non emby trakt player (kodi, plex, ... as sample) and continue on emby is only possible after the task was triggered. vice vers as sample its instant as other client are scrobbling directly the watch state also as input. sample, starting to watch on emby and continue on other clients (plex, kodi, ... as sample) is instantly possible, so would be nice to have this also shorter update timing would be the same effect.
