bayn 9
Hello, When I sync a folder with sub folders, the result when trying to watch is that all files in all folders lose their structure and are then shown in 1 flat hierarchy. Is there a way to keep the structure in sync that I’m missing? Let me know if pictures would help. Server Example: Folder:teacher Teacher-Folder lesson1- file1 - file2 Teacher-Folder lesson2 - file1 - file2 Sync shows File1 file1 file2 file2 etc.
Luke 37063
Hi, currently the synced folder structure is based on metadata, although it's possible to revise this in the future. thanks.
bayn 9
Luke, Is there a best practice then for this? Somewhere in the metadata I can edit to clump these together at least or is the best solution to simply update the file name and make it longer? I tend to avoid long file names out of habit (8.3, too much DOS back in the day) but if it’s not an issue I can rename the files.
Luke 37063
I guess for now you would just have to edit the title in Emby.
bayn 9
Makes sense, I’ll do that for now. Thanks for the info!
