Emby and Xbox One as a DLNA device

just wondering if anyone else using Xbox One has noticed that, despite the console being active on the network, Emby will not recognize it as a DLNA "cast-able" device?

It use to show up in the casting list, but is not available anymore.

My Pixel phone finds it okay, which lead me to believe it may be Emby specific.

Yes, that's the issue I'm experiencing.

Thanks for confirming.

I used it last night, and I found mine on the list and steamed to it just fine.

A couple of things though - about 2 weeks ago, I had to stream to my TV because the XBox in the living room didn't show up, despite being on and used for the previous 2 hours. Conversely, I am in my office, and the Xbox has been off for a while, but it still shows up. I have my discovery set to (I assume the default) 60 seconds.

One thing I am using Emby for is to serve up images/backgrounds for my Xbox One X. Using the 'media player' app, I can choose my emby server and choose a JPG in a folder to set as a background. However, despite them being 4K/high res jpegs with large pixel size, emby only shows them as pixelated, and I choose to set one as a background for my xbox console, the image is also pixellated there as well.

Is this a photo library?
