imthedoctor 7
Getting an audio/video chop every 5 seconds or so when watching any video, synced or not, with bluetooth. imthedoctor 7
So I tried other bluetooth, and it appears to be choppy with my galaxy buds, but not with my Bose qc35s. It only does it in the emby app, so I'm assuming it's something to do with how emby is outputting the audio Edited March 19, 2019 by imthedoctor
Luke 37099
I wonder if the audio bitrate is too much? The transcoding decisions currently do not take into account that you're using bluetooth so you may need to lower the in-app quality settings. I did think about that, but I can't find that setting anywhere. Where is it?
Luke 37099
Directly in the video player, just click the gear icon.
imthedoctor 7
Oh I gotcha, it doesn't help, I set it for 140p. It didn't help, the stutter is still in about 5 second increments. It's a very consistent increment. @@Luke Edited March 19, 2019 by imthedoctor

Luke 37099
Ok, I was previously able to reproduce choppy audio with apple airpods, and the small change that i made in 3.0.40 seems to have resolved that.
imthedoctor 7
Ok, I was previously able to reproduce choppy audio with apple airpods, and the small change that i made in 3.0.40 seems to have resolved that. I did notice that the audio starts sooner than it did on 3.0.39. On .39 there was a half a second or so delay before audio started, and it would stutter a little bit while starting. It no longer does that. Not sure if that helps at all, but thought I would mention it in case it does.
computerprep 142
This is definitely a thing, and seems to be Bluetooth-related for me too. I've actually had the app crash a few times. My Bluetooth headphones are at work, though, so I'll do my best to test further and supply logs soon. Currently on v3.0.40 Edited March 24, 2019 by computerprep
