vdams 1
I would like to have your feedback. I'm feeling Emby's performance are poor regarding my Syno config (DS918+ 4 Gb Ram). I'm surprised. I'm feeling access/display of libraries content is slow. How can i improve performances ? Logembyserver 201903102336.txt
Luke 37155
Hi there, to improve the performance of your emby server, please try uninstalling these plugins, and then restarting the server: 2019-03-10 19:45:54.973 Info App: Loading AutoBoxSets, Version=1.2.2.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null from /var/packages/EmbyServer/target/var/plugins/AutoBoxSets.dll 2019-03-10 19:45:54.973 Info App: Loading Emby.AutoOrganize, Version=1.3.7.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null from /var/packages/EmbyServer/target/var/plugins/Emby.AutoOrganize.dll 2019-03-10 19:45:54.973 Info App: Loading GenreCleaner, Version=1.0.14.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null from /var/packages/EmbyServer/target/var/plugins/GenreCleaner.dll 2019-03-10 19:45:54.973 Info App: Loading IsoMounter, Version=1.0.3.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null from /var/packages/EmbyServer/target/var/plugins/IsoMounter.dll 2019-03-10 19:45:54.973 Info App: Loading MediaBrowser.Channels.IPTV, Version=1.1.6.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null from /var/packages/EmbyServer/target/var/plugins/MediaBrowser.Channels.IPTV.dll 2019-03-10 19:45:54.973 Info App: Loading MediaBrowser.Plugins.Anime, Version=1.3.5.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null from /var/packages/EmbyServer/target/var/plugins/MediaBrowser.Plugins.Anime.dll 2019-03-10 19:45:54.973 Info App: Loading statistics, Version=2.0.8.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null from /var/packages/EmbyServer/target/var/plugins/Statistics.dll 2019-03-10 19:45:54.973 Info App: Loading MediaBrowser.Plugins.StudioCleaner, Version=3.2.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null from /var/packages/EmbyServer/target/var/plugins/StudioCleaner.dll 2019-03-10 19:45:54.973 Info App: Loading XmlMetadata, Version=3.3.1.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null from /var/packages/EmbyServer/target/var/plugins/XmlMetadata.dll 2019-03-10 19:45:54.973 Info App: Loading playback_reporting, Version=1.2.7.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null from /var/packages/EmbyServer/target/var/plugins/playback_reporting.dll Please let us know if this helps. solabc16 379
Hello @@vdams As a more general observation, this platform does perform very well, so we need to understand what specifically in your environment / setup is causing the problem. Please can you use Resource Viewer to see how much memory Emby Server is using, let us know. Also, are you running anything else on this system - what's the typical background CPU / memory utilisation. Best - James

solabc16 379
Hello @@vdams Thanks, look forward to the update. The DS918+ is quad core 'apollolake' based machine, so this machine has plenty of raw horsepower to make for a good experience. The memory in the screenshot looks ok, do you know what was running at the time driving the ~18% CPU utilisation? In the above examples, a response taking 555,293ms (~10mins), certainly seems a little unusual. Best - James
