danlo315 6
Yeah that's what I was doing but it would seem to get stuck sometimes. Killing it and starting over would work a bit faster at times. Looks like I have the same use case as some folks in this thread. I did a bunch of downloads off my home server. I'm not at home therefore Emby client on my iPad can't see the server. I can see my list of downloads just fine, but once I click into a video I downloaded it just spins. I don't have this issue when the Emby client can see the server. Doesn't this sort of defeats the purpose of having a download option?

Please try again with the next update to the app. Thanks.
simonhancock 15
We are working on it, thanks guys. It must be a pretty major hurdle if you can’t fix a progress bar in 6 months of working on it. Sorry if I sound snippy but it is pretty annoying as there is no way I can figure on the iPad to tell if the file is transferring or not. slyfox 42
Download to iOS seems to be a mess. A few videos did sync to my other iPad but there is two copies of each for some reason. Settings were set to 4Mbit. Edit: TV Shows are unplayable if you go to the TV show. None of the episodes appear to be functioning. The only way to play them is from the latest downloads menu. slyfox 42
After spending the past two evenings with Emby iOS app, I must say that it is a broken mess. 1. Anything that is synced to the iOS app is shown twice as if there is a duplicate. 2. Synced TV shows do not appear properly. Seasons have no episodes. The only way to find the episodes is in the main Downloads menu where the synced files are listed. 3. I really dislike the current Downloads interface as the latest synced files are in the way. When I open the Downloads menu, I want to quickly get to the Movies or TV Shows section to get my videos. Instead, I have to scroll through a long list of recently synced files first to find the desired menus at the very bottom. Luckily my upcoming trip will be saved by a very well working Plex app. While I really like and prefer the Emby server app, the iOS app needs to get some serious development.
