Sammy 736
I searched and didn't see this covered before although I thought I saw a post about it. My trailer sort order is reverse alphabetical even though I changed it to descending release date. I thought maybe Y-Trailers was the issue so I uninstalled then a Library Scan triggered (May be on a schedule of maybe triggered by uninstalling Y-Trailers) At any rate, the sort order is still not what I expect to see. Luke 37067
You can't change the sort order on the home screen, it's only for the screen where you charged it.

Sammy 736
You can't change the sort order on the home screenSo I set it for Release Date Descending in each folder (Netflix, Blu-Ray, etc) and did a full library scan. It is still by Descending alphabet. I'm not sure where else to make this sort order setting. I'm usually pretty good at figuring stuff out but I'm being dense this time.. Happy2Play 8282
And were are you seeing the wrong order? It is not the same page where you set the sort order, correct? Those other pages have there own query (ie Home Screen-Latest Trailers). But there is still something wrong as your Latest Trailers would appear broken to me. Where my Latest Trailers is descending by release date
Sammy 736
From the home page drilling down..I Don't know of anyplace else to set the sorting? Sent from my SM-G960U1 using Tapatalk Edited February 12, 2019 by Sammy
Happy2Play 8282
The sorting only applies to that page. I believe Home Screen section have there own queries, independent of those pages. (list.html does not equal home.html)

Sent from my SM-G960U1 using Tapatalk You can not set this. To me you have a defect in your installation as it should be doing this by default (release date-descending). What dateadded and releasedate information is shown for those items shown in Latest trailers? Edited February 11, 2019 by Happy2Play

What dateadded and releasedate information is shown for those items shown in Latest trailers? These must be trailers from Archived Trailers? Click "edit metadata" on the trailer. This makes since now. Did you must just enable Archived Trailers? I just did and now my Latest trailers are all old traiers. Pretty sure everything on the Home Screen is queried by Date Added, all the Archived Trailers have the newest date added.

I did recently check the Archive Trailers check box. Wish I knew this would be the result.. makes sense that the end of the alphabet is first now as those were probably pulled last. @@Luke any way to expose the settings for this or revise the logic? Happy2Play 8282
I don't think there is a easy way around this. I opened the database, went to the MediaItems table and filtered type column with "10" for trailers, then went to the Premieredate column and sorted that column and copied all the items with dates and pasted them in the datecreated column. So now all the trailers have Release date for DateAdded.

Sent from my SM-G960U1 using Tapatalk Sorry information only reside in the database. So you would need a database browser program like SQLiteDatabaseBrowser. Filter type "10", sort "premieredate" column, select those dates, copy (crtl+c), go to "datecreated" first item and paste (ctrl+v) Ensure you backup your library.db before doing any edits. This is what the TimeLord plugins do, but only applies to Movies and Shows. We could ask @@BeppoMonkeyBoy to add Trailers also.
BeppoMonkeyBoy 98
I could look at doing this for the timelord movies plugin.. I’ll take a quick look when I get chance.. (tomorrow at the earliest) my day job keeps me super busy, and Being a dad keeps me busy at home.. I’m suspecting this is a bit of a low demand change.

The latest version I see is release date 2019 01 07. Does time lord always change the date added to the release date? Is there a way to sort in mb bye release date and by date added after installing Time Lord? I paid for and had timelord installed for a while but I did not like not being able to find recently added titles and me when the release date may have been in years past. Is the license keyed to MV premier or is there another license I need to dig up in an old email? Thank you for incorporating this feature into time Lord by the way.
