jaycapz 3
Hi All, I have not used DVR option much as of late, but I tried recording a TV show last night. I performed the request via App to record the show. Later on went to access recordings from my FireTV as well as the App and I get an endless spinning progress wheel. Not sure what caused this but I did recently upgrade to the new server version 4.0.1 on my Asustor NAS. I checked my drive and I see the recordings/files on the NAS so it did record. I checked my permissions to those folders and all looks good. Not sure where the break is, can someone maybe point me in the right direction? I included some of the logs below where I observed the error report generated in the log. I get this same behavior locally or remotely. Appreciate any help you can lend here. 019-01-23 15:30:52.047 Error App: Error getting recordings *** Error Report *** Version: 4.0.1.0 Command line: /volume1/.@plugins/AppCentral/emby-server/system/EmbyServer.dll -programdata /home/emby -ffdetect /usr/local/AppCentral/emby-server/bin/ffdetect -ffmpeg /usr/local/AppCentral/emby-server/bin/ffmpeg -ffprobe /usr/local/AppCentral/emby-server/bin/ffprobe -updatepackage emby-server-asustor_{version}_x86-64.apk -noautorunwebapp Operating system: Unix 4.4.24.0 64-Bit OS: True 64-Bit Process: True User Interactive: True Processor count: 4 Program data path: /home/emby Application directory: /volume1/.@plugins/AppCentral/emby-server/system System.Net.Internals.SocketExceptionFactory+ExtendedSocketException: System.Net.Internals.SocketExceptionFactory+ExtendedSocketException (111): Connection refused 127.0.0.1:9080 at wmc2mb.SocketClientAsync.GetVectorAsync(String command, CancellationToken cancelToken, String streamId) at wmc2mb.WMCService.GetTimersAsync(CancellationToken cancellationToken) at Emby.LiveTV.LiveTvManager.<>c__DisplayClass77_0.<<GetTimersInternal>b__0>d.MoveNext() Source: wmc2mb TargetSite: Void MoveNext() at wmc2mb.SocketClientAsync.GetVectorAsync(String command, CancellationToken cancelToken, String streamId) at wmc2mb.WMCService.GetTimersAsync(CancellationToken cancellationToken) at Emby.LiveTV.LiveTvManager.<>c__DisplayClass77_0.<<GetTimersInternal>b__0>d.MoveNext() 2019-01-23 15:30:52.051 Error App: Error getting recordings *** Error Report *** Version: 4.0.1.0 Command line: /volume1/.@plugins/AppCentral/emby-server/system/EmbyServer.dll -programdata /home/emby -ffdetect /usr/local/AppCentral/emby-server/bin/ffdetect -ffmpeg /usr/local/AppCentral/emby-server/bin/ffmpeg -ffprobe /usr/local/AppCentral/emby-server/bin/ffprobe -updatepackage emby-server-asustor_{version}_x86-64.apk -noautorunwebapp Operating system: Unix 4.4.24.0 64-Bit OS: True 64-Bit Process: True User Interactive: True Processor count: 4 Program data path: /home/emby Application directory: /volume1/.@plugins/AppCentral/emby-server/system System.Net.Internals.SocketExceptionFactory+ExtendedSocketException: System.Net.Internals.SocketExceptionFactory+ExtendedSocketException (111): Connection refused 127.0.0.1:9080 at wmc2mb.SocketClientAsync.GetVectorAsync(String command, CancellationToken cancelToken, String streamId) at wmc2mb.WMCService.GetSeriesTimersAsync(CancellationToken cancellationToken) at Emby.LiveTV.LiveTvManager.<>c__DisplayClass83_0.<<GetSeriesTimersInternal>b__0>d.MoveNext() Source: wmc2mb TargetSite: Void MoveNext() at wmc2mb.SocketClientAsync.GetVectorAsync(String command, CancellationToken cancelToken, String streamId) at wmc2mb.WMCService.GetSeriesTimersAsync(CancellationToken cancellationToken) at Emby.LiveTV.LiveTvManager.<>c__DisplayClass83_0.<<GetSeriesTimersInternal>b__0>d.MoveNext()
Luke 37062
Hi there, try uninstalling the server wmc plugin. Thanks.
jaycapz 3
I uninstalled the plugin and did a quick reboot of the emby server. I now dont see any progress bar spinning and do not see the one recording that I see saved at the defined path/share.
jaycapz 3
Interestingly under the "Latest Movies" section I am seeing some of the test recordings I did today. However, going to the recordings/latest recordings is a blank page, and looks like it just quits before it attempts to load anything.
jaycapz 3
Ok - I figured it out. It had to be something to do with either permissions locally, or something beyond what I care to figure out in the path I was using to save the recordings. So for example: /volume1/Public/DVR = Did not work /share/Public/DVR = Works Not sure what the deal is here, but i'll investigate it later. Both paths are correct for getting to that same DVR test folder I setup. I would have thought I would have seen some sort of access error when attempting to read that folder. Thanks anyway.
