d00zah 128
V4.0.1.0 / v3.0.317b I've had a custom collection (Marvel Cinematic Universe, built in the UI) defined on my server for quite a while. collection.xml As you can see, it contains all the MCU movies, as well as each season of the NetFlix Marvel series'. I do this so they appear chronologically within their respective groupings. Tonight, trying to watch some newly acquired episodes, I hit a new bug... when I enter the 'TV Series' view in EMC, I see all 'Marvel' series clearly listed: But if I try to enter any of the Marvel series views (the Punisher, specifically, but ANY), it lands me in the MCU collection, where I am then able to enter a specific season from the list: rather than seeing the usual series specific list of seasons. embyserver.txt MBClassic-211201946a765446bc04f55a20148e5d749d20e.log All other multi-season series behave as expected. Only the MCU members act as described. They have always behaved like any other series until these new server/client releases. If I've missed any info, please let me know. TIA Note: One nice thing is that EMC lists all collection items in the correct chronology without splitting into Movies/TV Series... wish the server could do this Edited January 22, 2019 by d00zah
ebr 14925
If you turn off the option in EMC to collapse items into collections, does this problem go away?
d00zah 128
If you turn off the option in EMC to collapse items into collections, does this problem go away? Yes. Thank you! And I still get in-line collections in movies, so I guess this is now a 'server only' setting? If so, shouldn't it be removed from the EMC config options? d00zah 128
Your collections are created via the Emby interface not in physical folders, right? Correct. I've never relied on folder-based grouping in Emby. But 'collapse items into collections' was always checked in EMC. What changed that I'm failing to grasp? ebr 14925
The way that option is handled in the server and the way apps have to communicate it to the server has changed. I don't see how you still got inline collections with that option off. Did you re-start EMC after changing that option?

It immediately fixed the TV Series views, but after a restart, I no longer see in-line collections for Movies. d00zah 128
Not being impatient, I realize I seem to be the only one seeing this, just a question... when a fix for this eventually comes, would it be to EMC, or server-side? TIA
ebr 14925
It will be to EMC. Thanks.
