jemus 3
Hey, I set emby to store all the *nfo data and artwork files in the media folders. Since the update to emby 4.0.0.2 emby stores the artwork as follows: moviefilename-poster.jpg moviefilename-logo.png... Before the update it has been like that: poster.jpg logo.png... So now every artwork I chose by myself is not taken by emby anymore. Is there a way to convince the new version of emby to use these artwork files which are already there or maybe a script that renames the already existing artwork files in the new way? Luke 37161
Hi there, can you give an example of something that is not using your image from your media folder? thanks !
jemus 3
Hmm I thought I already gave you an example. What exactly do you mean?It is concerning every single movie (folder) but not the tv shows.Do you want me to send a screenshot of one of the movie folders? Edit: I didn't check that right yesterday. So emby is not downloading new artwork for every singe movie but for many of them. Edit 2: I just took a look in like 20 of the folders. Seems like this issue only occurs, when there is this folder named "Untertitel" in the movie folder. In a few kodi releases playback kept crashing as long as there was a "subs" folder included so I used powershell to rename all of them. Edit 3: So in each movie folder which contains a subdir, emby changes this line in the *nfo file: <art> <poster>/path/to/movie/Movie A (2000)/poster.jpg</poster> </art> to <art> <poster>/path/to/movie/Movie A (2000)/videofilename-poster.jpg</poster> </art> So if the existing poster is named "poster.jpg" as it was handled by emby 3, the line is changed and a new poster gets downloaded. If there is no subdir in the movie folder, emby leaves the *nfo file as it is and takes the existing "poster.jpg". Edit 4: Well renamed every artwork manually..
