ilovemymac 0
I have all my media on my Google team drive. I did the Api and all. But I do not see how to add my library in to emby server. It shows my local drives but I see no place to pull from my google team drive. So how would I go about scanning in my folders from these drives? Thank you
Luke 37068
Hi, we don't have a feature to scan google drive. We do have a feature to sync content to google drive. You can learn more about that on our wiki: https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Wiki/wiki/Google-Drive Thanks !
ilovemymac 0
Ok so I did that and it says use download button found throughout the app. But what am I missing that I am not seeing a download button to start the sync.Does this mean I have to have everything stored locally as well? Because I do not have anywhere near enough space locally for everything on my team drive. Edited January 21, 2019 by ilovemymac
Luke 37068
Yes currently you do have to keep local copies.
ilovemymac 0
Is the copy you keep locally can it just be named the same or does it have to be the exact same file? Because I see that it can pull from the online cloud Drive to actually do the streaming so you’re not using your own bandwidth. Luke 37068
You can name the local files however you want, but once you sync it, you cannot rename the local copy or you will lose the association and it will have to be synced again.
