jhschulz 3
Hi, I updated my Emby server to version 4.0.0.2 and now I can no longer access 'latest' music via DLNA using my AVM FritzFon (https://en.avm.de/products/fritzfon/fritzfon-c4/) as DLNA client. Everything else (Album, Artist, Genre,...) works, but if I select 'Latest' to get the latest added albums, all I get is an error message saying: "The server does not respond". This is what is written to the Emby log if I select 'Latest': 2019-01-17 11:46:52.949 Info HttpServer: HTTP POST http://192.168.xxx.85:8096/dlna/f9xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxa2/contentdirectory/control. Any ideas what could be the problem? With BubbleUPNP on my Android smartphone I can access the 'latest' music.

Luke 37118
Hmm this is a tough one. Ultimately this means the device doesn't' like something in our responses. The question now is what. This is always difficult to chase down.
jhschulz 3
This must be something that has been changed in the new version, because with 3.5.3 and before it worked. And only selecting 'latest' doesn't work, everything else has no problems. So what's different when 'latest' is selected compared to 'albums' or 'artists'? Is there anything else I can do to help find the cause of the problem?
Luke 37118
@@jhschulz Yes I believe you, I'm just not sure yet what the difference is. I will try to find it. Thanks.

bnslooma 0
Luke, Thanks for everything you do. After the 4.0.0.2 update, like jhschulz, the Latest Music Section is gone only that I'm not accessing it through dlna but directly from the Emby web interface and my Android phone Emby app. Attached my server log file (hopefully the correct one). Luke 37118
Can you show a screenshot of what you see on the music suggestions tab? Are you able to browse music albums?
jhschulz 3
@bnslooma You do not have the same problem, it must be something different. My problem is only related to DLNA and only to one client. If I access the music via the web interface or use a different DLNA client, everything is ok. If I understand you correctly, you don't have the "lastest music" section at all, no matter how you access the server.
bnslooma 0
Correct, my apologies for hijacking your post.
