Sizzlebox 2
I am using Emby Server 3.5 Windows 10, and I have attempted to watch any video (I've tried 480p, 1080p h264 and 4k HEVC) on AppleTV4, iOS, and within the web browser. I can log in, I can navigate through menus of the library, but every video file in my library will "open" (begin the spinning circle) and stay that way and never stop or error out. I also have tried simple things like restarting the server and doing a full server hardware shutdown and restart. See attached logs when I tried via web browser. Sizzlebox 2
Hi. Did you forget to attach the log? Yeah. I selected the file to attach but forgot to hit the attach this file icon. I edited the first post with the log. Should be good to go now.

Luke 37064
Hi there, can you update to the new 4.0 release and see if you still have a problem? Please make sure to read the release notes: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/blog/1/entry-447-announcing-emby-server-40/ Thanks !

Sizzlebox 2
I re-scanned my library, got ONE video to do playback after a long wait, and then could not get it to replicate. emby-server-4.0.0.2-20190116-diskscan.txt.txt ffmpeg-remux--4.0.0.2-20190116-diskscan.txt.txt hardware_detection-scan.txt.txt

Sizzlebox 2
So now it's playing fine? No, same problem. It did play one video, I don’t know what was different about that. I quit out of it and tried the same and other videos and it still hangs/freezes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Luke 37064
This is probably the reason: 2019-01-16 11:45:55.313 Error MediaSourceManager: Error getting media sources *** Error Report *** Version: 4.0.0.2 Command line: C:\Users\Sizzle\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\system\EmbyServer.dll -noautorunwebapp Operating system: Microsoft Windows NT 6.2.9200.0 64-Bit OS: True 64-Bit Process: True User Interactive: True Processor count: 6 Program data path: C:\Users\Sizzle\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\programdata Application directory: C:\Users\Sizzle\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\system SQLitePCL.pretty.SQLiteException: Busy: database is locked Somehow you've managed to get two instances of Emby Server running at the same time. Do you have more than one windows user running Emby Server? Can you try rebooting your machine? Thanks.
Sizzlebox 2
I restarted Windows and also got Emby premiere (thanks for your tech support) and restarted the Emby server after getting premier (just to be safe). I have the same problem of the database is locked... embyserver-after-restart.txt
Sizzlebox 2
Update -- I verified I have Emby only booting from one startup folder (user) and not in the general system startup. Also, it show no sign of running as a service. Still does not work.
Happy2Play 8281
Do you get the same results if you click on the tray icon and exit, verify in task manager embytray.exe and embyserver.exe are not still running, then start Emby manually from start menu? Luke 37064
Have you by any chance ever setup a windows service for Emby? Are there multiple windows users on the machine?
Sizzlebox 2
Oddly, it seems one of my hard drives (not boot drive) was failing and I've disconnected the HD, rebooted the system and Emby works perfectly now. It previously had Emby content on it, but I had removed the media recently. Maybe the library kept trying to read the failing drive? Either way, seems like it's resolved now.
