Parental Controls: Restrict all Internet Related Content

tl;dr I don't want my kids seeing the Internet Related metadata associated with the shows I have in Emby.

 

Hi. I'll be having my children access Emby to watch their shows under their own user login.

I noticed that a lot of information about the shows and movies is shown which is gathered from the Internet.

It would be nice if I could check a box in the user profile that would prevent Internet gathered information about the shows from being displayed.

I don't want my children to click on boxes to go to IMDB for example.

I know that I can remove the internet related metadata from the items. Might be nice to have an option to disable it on a user basis so older users can still see the information.

I also understand that the Links: IMDB, TheMovieDb, The Movie DB Collection, Trakt cannot be prevented from being displayed at this time.

Why not use Emby Theater?  As it does not have these links.

 

Since these links are only available in the web client you could use custom css to hide/remove them but it will affect all users.
