MisterAngelus 7 Posted January 9, 2019 Share Posted January 9, 2019 I know Roku set a rule where you have to have caption mode enabled to see subtitles in Emby. But I prefer to have Emby burn the subtitle into the video but even if I disable caption mode in Emby every time I log back into Emby it re enables caption mode... is there a way to prevent this and just have Emby burn the subtitle in> Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

MisterAngelus 7 Posted January 9, 2019 Author Share Posted January 9, 2019 I don't really know to me it just looks better then the way Roku displays them Every subtitle I let play with caption mode turned on seems to have a black background and white text when I play them with vlc I can clearly see it's supposed to be displayed yellow with a total different font... Roku's way works I just want to see it the way it was intended just personal preference so I usually turn off caption and set it to burn in any and all selected subtitle So can caption be permanently disabled in Emby and burn in be set Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
