I mean, we have a movie with 3 audio tracks: 1. DTS Spanish 2. AC3 Spanish 3. AC3 English If our selected language is Spanish and the server requires transcoding DTS to AC3, I think it is more logical to automatically select the AC3 track instead of transcoding DTS to AC3. This is interesting using very low power NAS. If it's a complex task, maybe it's not worth it, but if it's simple maybe. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

ebr 14959 Posted January 5, 2019 Share Posted January 5, 2019 This has come up before and the wrinkle here is we cannot be certain that the other tracks all have the same content. Perhaps we should only do this if the channel count matches too. This would probably avoid you automatically getting a director's commentary instead of the real audio track.
