villatuelino 0
Carlo 4330
Yes H.264 with at least a 2 channel AAC audio channel wrapped in an MP4 container is about the best "all purpose" direct play file you can ask for.
Mibok 118
Just to be sure, it is ACC or AAC for audio codec? because they are completely different codecs.
Carlo 4330
I don't think I've ever heard of an ACC audio codec???

Carlo 4330
Yea, I'm aware of that program as it's just a proprietary encoder/decoder that could be useful for "voice apps" where you control both sides. But to the best of my knowledge would not be used for media as I don't think any apps or devices would have the codec needed to decode this audio. Mibok 118
My memory might be tricking me, but some years ago in the age of ipod classic with HDD i remind researching and found that they were acc and aac audio codecs one promoved by apple and the other by sony. But that was a long time ago so i might have mixed some info in my head. I couldn't found anything about acc codec now.

Sorry by the mistake, yes is the AAC audio codec, @cayars correct me. I use in 5.1 channels in movies (2 channels for normal series, because the sound not the handycap)
