Play all button on Roku Express app

When I go to an artists' album on the Emby Roku app (or "channel"), there is a "Play all" button on the left. It apparently does nothing. Multiple clicks on it result in, well, no results.

Anyone know why, and of a solution to this?

Honestly I think we have to resolve all your other issues with music before this can be answered.  As you are the only one currently having these issues.

Maybe it's just me, but I sense some sarcasm in that response and I don't appreciate it. I am tech savvy, and I'm finding that Emby is quite a buggy program. I read the post in the Forum quite often, and find that many people are having many problems with this program, not just me.

Okay sorry but I use the same program as you and have not experience this issue.  Your screenshots from other post shows a definite issue with how you are setting up libraries as Music will not function that way.

 

Maybe it is a difference in Express vs Ultra but they both use the same app.

Also what app version number are on?

 

 

Only place I have seen a issue in Artists "Play" button on beta 3.0.109 throws "unable to determine item to play".  But Artists Albums "Play All" button loaded all the album tracks into play queue and started playing.

Yes, I think this is all stemming from the library setup issues.

 

Please remove those extra libraries for subfolders that you set up, let Emby re-scan everything and then see how things work in the apps.

This has been marked as an issue on the roku issue tracker. This means eyes are looking at it often. I do not have a timeline. Only acknowledgement that we are aware this is an issue. All of these issues with music are sort of all related to the same area and functions so should be resolved all at the same time. I apologize this is missing. But take heart in the fact, we know it is. I want this fixed too. This just takes time.
