horstepipe 356
Hey as you made some work for audiobooks, and the new emby for kodi version is able to show them and play them back, I wanted to add some audio books to my emby server. I had to realize that strm files pointing to a mp3 file doesn't seem to be supported by Emby server, am I correct? Could you please make it possible? Luke 37118
It should work.
horstepipe 356
hm so then maybe it's a current limitation by Emby for Kodi @@Angelblue05

horstepipe 356
It should work. Hey @@Luke looks like the problem is server related. Add the attached strm file to the audio book library to one of your emby test servers (I had to add the .txt at the end of the file name to be allowed to upload the file). You won't be able to play it back in Emby Theater or any other Emby client. Playing it back directly in Kodi or vlc works fine. horstepipe 356
So @@Luke have you tried out the provided sample file and were you able to reproduce the problem?

horstepipe 356
Hey @@Luke this is working now (tested with audio books library) in v3.6.0.49 in Emby Theater. Thank you very much! @@Angelblue05 Unfortunately it doesn't work in Kodi yet :-) I don't see the audio books library in the addon either. I can only access it through the Embuary menu item. I'll send you a log via pm
