BrazMan 0
Hi This is my first day whith emby Can someone help me with this... I am creating my library (400 movies) and just after i press to scan my files my CPU and system memory goes to 100% usage. After a couple of minutes the machine freeze and i need to turn off... yes press the button and turn off the PC. Is there a way to avoid this? mastrmind11 717
This isn't normal behavior. WHat happens if you just let it run? Are you sure your pc is completely frozen or is it still grinding in the background? As a workaround, just create multiple movie folders w/ a subset of your movies in each, and add 1 folder at a time to your library. See if that helps. BrazMan 0
This isn't normal behavior. WHat happens if you just let it run? Are you sure your pc is completely frozen or is it still grinding in the background? As a workaround, just create multiple movie folders w/ a subset of your movies in each, and add 1 folder at a time to your library. See if that helps. Hi! I tried several times and i am positive that the PC was frozen... Also format my PC and strated from sctratch but got the same results. All the process stopped after some time scanning. I did the second option and create some folders and add just 5-10 movies at time... for TV Series just add 02-03 at time and it works. That´s ok for me because i only have like 400 movies and 40 full tv series but think if my library is 3 or 4 times bigger? I think this problem can be related to the fact that i set up everithing to Portuguese-Brazil. I did not make test with English. Thank you for your help! Braz. Luke 37064
Why do you think it's related to Portuguese?
BrazMan 0
Why do you think it's related to Portuguese? Maybe Emby is having problems to handle metadata information and then start some kind of loop looking for the info in portuguese. Does not rollback to English,,,, I mean Try to find the metadata in portuguese if does not find go to English. I have a lot of these errors: 2018-08-31 23:22:06.261 Error HttpClient: Error getting response from https://assets.fanart.tv/fanart/tv/70386/tvthumb/get-smart-52d89033cbb3e.jpg *** Error Report *** Luke 37064
The library scan after adding the new library was quick though, only five minutes. Is this a big problem? It should be faster with the upcoming 3.6 release. Thanks.
tata1 0
The library scan after adding the new library was quick though, only five minutes. Is this a big problem? It should be faster with the upcoming 3.6 release. Thanks. the problem is that sometimes when I do the upgrade of the library Emby begins to increase the consumption of memory until it consumes all the memory of the machine, in the case 8GB, when this happens the machine hangs, and only returns when closing the Emby process by the windows task manager. tata1 0
At that moment, the librarian started to attack the library and the problem started again, the update caught on 35% and at that moment the memory starts to rise until consuming everything and locking the machine, follow the link with the photos of what happens on the machine: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1-pgEnk40UYb3TQDSxbGiuXqmnWQM693X
