I was having this issue as well.  I had Ubuntu 16.04 running emby 3.5.3.0  then started getting the following:

Oct 23 06:01:37 emby kernel: [  160.284917] show_signal_msg: 5 callbacks suppressed
Oct 23 06:01:37 emby kernel: [  160.284921] EmbyServer[1627]: segfault at 0 ip 00007f1414f417b0 sp 00007f13709be0b8 error 4 in libc-2.27.so[7f1414eba000+1e7000]
Oct 23 06:01:38 emby systemd[1]: emby-server.service: Main process exited, code=killed, status=11/SEGV
Oct 23 06:01:38 emby systemd[1]: emby-server.service: Failed with result 'signal'.

I then upgrade to the beta 3.6.0.57 with the same results.  So I then saw in another forum to try upgrade to 18.04.1  and had the same issues.  after reading this forum, i remembered that I had recently added some rather large shares via SMB, so I stopped the NAS (Nas4Free) they are on and rebooted Emby and it fired up and didnt crash, So i removed the shares for now and emby is running smooth.

So 2 questions, What can I do to help with further trouble shooting?  and What would be the very best way to add network shares to emby?  My media shares are rather large.

Thnx
