When I install it on my Windows 10 notebook under two different Windows user accounts, the Emby server sees both installations as the same device. This wreaks havoc with the sync functionality, as both installations of Emby Theater try to sync the files separately and just fight with each other. Is there some way to force one of the installations to have a different device id so both users can sync their own files (the same way the Emby for Android app works)? shawe2545 0 Posted May 29, 2018 Author Share Posted May 29, 2018 I only see one new device in the server's device list. It's labelled Windows and identified as Emby Theatre.
