Dear,

I trying many configuration on my emby installed on a i5 nuc  with 8gb DDR3

Video files are stored into a Drobo.

No problem with h264 but i'm struggling with HEVC H265 encoded files

they freeze, sometimes even start or lag with audio and so on

By your opinion what's the suggested configuration in trascoding option for HW acceleration?

There other options i can manage to get better results?

I'm actually running on Intel Quicksynk

Thank you in advance

Regards

That's a 4th gen. The GPU won't support HEVC, and the CPU will struggle.

I just bought a NUC with a 6th Generation Intel® Core™ i7-6770HQ and Intel® Iris™ Pro Graphics 580. What's my best option? Thanks

That should work fine with Quick Sync, but disable decoding.
