tuvx 14
I see no way in the LG app to fast forward or chapter jump, am I missing something? The option I found was a 30 second jump, which takes 1-2 seconds to refresh before you can jump again. Not efficient when trying to get to the 40 minute mark.
Luke 37064
Have you tried the buttons on the remote?
tuvx 14
Yes, as I said it gives only 30 second jumps.
tuvx 14
Is this something that should be moved to feature requests, or is the post here sufficient? (feature request being to add a chapter selection and fast forward option -- not jump)
Luke 37064
hi @@tuvx, this is sufficient. We know that we need to add a chapter jump option in the video player. Thanks.

Martum 2
Is there any way to improve fast forwarding? Would be easier if we could just hold down the FF button. Currently I have to push the FF button in a specific rythm to jump to a later point on the movie.

Have you tried the channel up / channel down buttons on the remote of your LG? All 3 of my LG TVs (different Models) show the same functionality... during video playback pressing channel up makes the video either jump to the next chapter or if video has no chapters it jumps in 5 minute steps forward. Same with the channel down button only in the other direction ;-) Let me know if this works for you ;-) Edited June 21, 2019 by nanuk
crusher11 851
I had no idea that was a thing, but it does indeed work. Thanks!
eman28 0
Have you tried the channel up / channel down buttons on the remote of your LG? That works for my TV as well. Thank you @@nanuk! Another thing I have found is that you can connect a USB keyboard/mouse to the TV, and use the mouse to click on the scrub bar. This will move the play head to the point that you click. nanuk 24
I think you can do this with the magic remote too. Many LG TVs don't have magic remotes and you can use a "non-magic remote" with an "magic remote TV" but not vice versa. The buttons are working but that whats making a magic remote magic doesn't work (mouse pointer...) on TVs with an normal remote Edited June 7, 2019 by nanuk
