mikelodeon13 0
Hello people, I have a situation and would like to know if there is something that can be done. I'm currently leasing two VPS services from different hosting companies, one of them is a 2TB VPS Storage solution and the other one is a 30GB VPS both running Ubuntu 16.04. I installed the Emby media server on the 30GB VPS and have my media files (Videos) on the 2TB VPS, and would like to know how can I add in the library the path from my 2TB VPS to access the folder where I have my videos. Hope someone can provide me any help or guide me on how to do this. Thanks in advance and will be pending of your comments. Regards....
Luke 37064
Can you mount the vps to a local folder, then add the folder to emby?
KMBanana 84
Link the two with OpenVPN, then set up network file sharing on the 2TB and mount the share on the 30GB.
Guest plexman
You can check if your provider has vRack and private vLAN for your servers. That way you can create a private LAN between your VPS's avoiding the CPU overhead of the OpenVPN link between them.
