Log upload 02:50PM and 3:00 PM GTM -3  with Roku App

Local user is Milton

The Roku Emby application keeps loading when you try to play any live channel on M3U Tuner, and the loading logo remains on screen even when you exit to the main emby menu.

This is the m3u list url

Hi.  Are you sure the exact same channel at the same time worked from the web app?

It looks like the request timed out on the Roku.

Also, it looks like it presented you with an error in a message box.  Did you see that?  If so, what, exactly, did it say?

ok, I attach them, screenshot of the channel playing on WebApp and the channel on Roku.
Also attached server-63654941368.txt.

Tthere is no log of ffmpeg at the time of channel playback.

I commented that with IPTV plugin the channels are reproduced without problems in both platforms

For reference, here is the playback url from the app.  This time, it looks like it just never starts getting content but there isn't a time-out message.  You may have sent the log before the time-out occurred though.

Playing Live TV

Looks like there should have been an ffmpeg log and the server log you provided above is from after this playback attempt (doesn't contain it).

Finally, the log you did provide shows something getting rejected repeatedly with an authorization exception (may be unrelated).

oddly enough that url does not appear in this server log.

Yeah, the log is from this morning and the playback was yesterday.

ok, I'm sorry for the misunderstanding, so I'm going to reproduce the error scenario and upload the Roku log, server log and ffmpeg log,  all corresponding to the same moment of playback. Thank you very much for your support

Hello, I restart the emby server and reproduce the error scenario again, uploaded the roku log with the local user Milton at 5:20 PM GMT-3.
There was no expired time message and the reproduction did not start at any time.
I attached server-63655089346.txt from 5:22 PM and screenshot of emby server dashboard.
As shown in the attached capture, there is no log ffmpeg at the same time as the channel is playing.

I hope that the information is useful to determine the problem

Any other information you need and can give them will do their best to supply it

@@miltuxon is not alone, I have observed a similar issue multiple times. Interestingly for me Live TV works initially on Roku, but after switching channels a few times, I get the spinning wheel. When that happens ffmpeg logs are no longer produced on the server. Also Live TV fails in the browser at that time, likewise without ffmpeg log generation. Only an emby restart solved the problem, which in my case means a server reboot because emby cannot shutdown.

EDIT: During above incident, I also scheduled two recordings. The server log shows no error and logs opening of the stream (see below for log entries for one of these instances). However no ffmpeg recording log is created.

@@revengineer, as these issues are almost always associated with the source itself, we'd have to review the complete server log as well as the entire sequence of events that actually happened. thanks.

Fair enough and I myself have reported issues in the past that were due to the IPTV source. This one seemed different because once the server was in the state when it would not play the IPTV anymore, channels from the HD Homerun would not play either anymore. When looking into this last weekend, I was also able to play these channels in VLC and Kodi, so they were not just down as I experienced with my previous provider frequently.

I understand that all this is anecdotal and I need to provide better logs. I will try to work on this next weekend. The main reason for adding to the post is that the OP was onto something that may not be an isolated case.
