Integrate Emby PVR functionality?

I know at one point last summer both @@Luke and @@marcelveldt mentioned that PVR functionality was on the radar.

Just wondering if this is still the case? Would love to be able to use Kodi as my front end 100% of the time.

I would love to see this happen soon - especially considering the Live TV components were removed from the latest stable release of Emby for Kodi.

edit:  sorry - latest beta

Latest beta, indeed. I am the only dev for Emby for Kodi. I had to revamp playback and have no interest in continuing supporting live tv moving forward, due to my limited time.

Stick with stable until then.

I am curious about this:

Does "no interest in continuing supporting live tv" mean that the Emby for Kodi add-on will never support live tv via Emby?

I ask because I've just cut the cord  and am adding m3u to my setup - I'd prefer to just add it to my Emby server's native m3u support, but if the add-on doesn't bring in live tv from Emby, I'll need to set up a different backend (previously was using server wmc but retiring it today along with the cord...)

It was never in the plans for emby for kodi to support Live TV. marcelveldt added temporary, experimental support (which is still part of stable). Since I revamped playback and being the only dev on the project, Live TV was removed.

Emby Live TV for Kodi will be it's own thing, as it should be.
