dcrdev 251
Is there any chance that images can start being loaded last on the page via javascript, in certain views images have to be retrieved on-the-fly is they are not already cached from metadata it appears as though there is a dependency on that happening before the rest of the view loads. Recently there have been 1/2 instances where the tvdb has been unavailable or slow to respond and this has causes a delay in loading pages to the extent where if it takes long enough - the rest of the page doesn't load at all; you just get the spinning circle indefinitely. A refresh is required, which is ofcourse trivial - but in the iOS app for instance this might mean the navigation hasn't loaded yet, so the only course of action is to restart the app. Thanks
Luke 37253
Are you sure this was the reason? we should already be loading images after the navigation has happened.
dcrdev 251
Yeah they are for most things, but not for example actor pages.
dcrdev 251
I could tell because the images were loading segment by segment. Edited January 6, 2018 by dcrdev
