jaquestati 45
well.. we had a long discussion about this back when it happened the first time.. in that .net core thread.... basically there are say 10 folders on my gdrive/fuse mount.. movies, movies 1, movies 2 etc... and the way permissions work with unionfuse mounts is kinda weird.. you enable this allow_other setting in the config and other users can see the drive.. it's always worked perfectly with plex,,, but for some strange reason emby can't at times... i say at times because it saw them fine on this machine/with no changes whatsoever aside from upgraded to the latest beta... but now .. it can't... like 10 or 12 upgrades ago it just cant browse inside certain random folders... it sees the folder but nothing inside it. : ) : ( Edited December 27, 2017 by jaquestati

jaquestati 45
not sure what else to say.. i have a main folder for movies on gdrive/fuse called 'movies' emby used to see what was inside it... now it does not. fyi plex sees it fine. probably unrelated (i don't think i got the error before i noticed this problem coming back) but i can no longer do full library scans at all (i can manually do each one though), but since the last beta, when i try to do a full scan i get the error "scan media library failed - string was not recognized as a valid datetime"
