Bug : gray overlay while watching the next TV show

Hi,

I'm using the latest version of Emby server with the web app (Firefox 57).

I've got a gray overlay while watching the next TV show. And Emby picks up the wrong audio channel.

How to reproduce this bug :

- Watch a TV Show with 2 audio channels

- For this example, let's say the first audio channel is a foreign language and audio 2 is the TV show original language.

- Start watching an episode with the second audio channel on

- Skip this episode to go to the next one using the arrow from the interface at the bottom  >| (but you can also wait until the end of the episode, it works the same way)

- It starts the next episode with the first audio channel instead of the second one (that's the first issue)

- Change the audio channel using the music note from the interface at the bottom

- It reloads the video with the right audio but now there is a gray overlay

- You have to come back to the TV Series section where is list all the episodes, select your episodes, select your audio channel before starting the movie... and then it works

Here are the logs.

I did exactly what is details in my previous post :

- Start episode 1 with audio on channel 1

- Move to next episode

- The audio change to channel 2

- Change the audio to channel 1

- Gray overlay

- Close movie

Also, why do you think the audio on the second video is incorrect? are you expecting the second stream to be selected just because you did that with the first video? it doesn't work that way.

Yep, because it would be a logical behavior. If you watch one episode using a specific audio channel it's very unlikely that you will change of language for the next episode.

It could be a feature request I guess.

We'll look into the overlay, but as far as subtitles go, each episode is independent and the subtitles  you select in episode 1 will not affect episode 2.

What you should do is configure your emby user's subtitle preferences so that you can get the best default behavior you possibly can. You can do this by clicking your user icon in the top right and then exploring the settings underneath that. thanks.
