intrigued 0
I'm a true novice in all of this. Somehow I have actually got the Emby server up & running. I'm using a music server on a Mac Mini (2012) using the newest High Sierra build of MacOX. The Emby server has recognised my music folder and indeed has started to scan it. However, on two occasions the server has just stopped at 67,9% and will go no further (I rebooted Emby and started a scan a second time). My music is made up solely of MP3 and FLAC files: 330,55 GB and 48,553 files Has anyone come across this scanning problem before whereby the scan just stops? And if so, what would be the remedy for it? Thanks in advance - Steve
intrigued 0
Supplementary to the above... the media scan stands at 69,6% after four hours' scanning. Is it normal to be this aggravatingly slow?
Luke 37084
Hi there, it is probably not stuck and is just taking a little while. Can you please attach the emby server log? you can learn how to do that here: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/739-how-to-report-a-problem/ Thanks.
