karlshea 8
Real Time airs on HBO on Friday nights, and then afterwards there's a web-only YouTube discussion called Overtime. TheTVDB lists those Overtime episodes under the current season, and those are what Emby is picking up instead of the actual episode. For example: https://www.thetvdb.com/?tab=season&seriesid=72231&seasonid=688390&lid=7 The episodes were previously named "Real Time with Bill Maher - 2017-08-04 - Episode 432 WEBDL-720p", but I tried changing it to a normal (non-daily) format which is now "Real Time with Bill Maher - S15E22 - Episode 432 WEBDL-720p" and neither work, Emby always picks up the Overtime metadata. Is there something I can do differently to get Emby to pick up the right thing? Or is this an issue with how episodes are identified?
Luke 37065
Do you see the correct season and episode numbers in emby?
karlshea 8
You know what, I just got it working. Switching it to the s00e00 format was the trick, but it didn't work until I totally removed the whole folder, rescanned to remove it from the library, removed all of the nfo and xml files, put it back and rescanned again. Now they're all correct. Thanks anyways!
