darkassassin07 423
I just tried to watch a show from my server on xbone via the theater app. I started with a show from the main 'tv shows' screen which started fine, then froze about 10min in. After that attempts to browse all shows or all movies results in a black screen, and nothing would play at all. Gave up and moved to dlna which worked fine. darkassassin07 423
Here is the most recent 3. I can't garentee which one it is as there has been a stream or two since. It would be the only one with a stream to emby theater on xbox one though. ffmpeg-transcode-686c5a21-40c8-459e-ae37-b235981fa636.txt ffmpeg-transcode-3451a7c3-5737-4eba-ab6f-4b0256de7837.txt ffmpeg-transcode-13857c31-75a1-480e-8765-68eb0c144735.txt
Luke 37065
These all look like some kind of dlna stream. were you using the the xbox dlna app?
darkassassin07 423
The issue im having was directly through the emby app on xbone, I switched to dlna from Android when that gave me trouble. Thought it was a transcoding, looks like it was direct. One of these two sry: ffmpeg-directstream-6fbc9193-2469-4efb-8716-934ec88c34ef.txt ffmpeg-directstream-b9c8b5fe-5a3e-45f7-baee-81ac964913f7.txt Edited August 5, 2017 by darkassassin07
darkassassin07 423
The odd part is it wasn't just playback effected, after playback failed theater refused to populate any media lists like 'all movies'
darkassassin07 423
So now that the family isn't watching GoT, I did a server restart and attempted to stream the same file that gave me trouble both through emby theater and dlna from Android. Both worked fairly well, good quality, pause and resume just fine. The only issue I had at all was while streaming through dlna i was unable to rewind. Doing so with the right bumper or grabbing and dragging the track bar caused the video to jump back ~10sec for less than a second, then jump forward +15sec leaving you 5sec further ahead than befor trying to rewind. Edit: rewind with the Xbox controller, I didnt test via remote control through emby. Playing any other media I tested with did not have this issue. Here are those logs: ffmpeg-directstream-7334891a-486b-4fa1-9e3f-782cdbde9e41.txt ffmpeg-directstream-f08e2cc5-f5e0-4aa4-bcf8-2fdc40374233.txt server-63637480834.txt Edited August 5, 2017 by darkassassin07
darkassassin07 423
And oddly, after simply trying to stream that file via dlna again, everything works fine. Seeking takes its sweet time, but it works... ffmpeg-directstream-ead4619b-98e2-440a-9c3a-d8079ab01ee9.txt
