AxeMan 22
Hello, For some reason, when I startup Emby, the users login screen takes a LONG time - 2 to 3 minutes. But eventually loads. Emby for WMC shows as up to date. Server is on Version 3.2.24.0. Obviously have tried reboots, etc. Only happens to be on my Win 7 machine. The other clients work fine. Even Emby on web from same machine works fine (trying to rule out a networking issue). is Uinstall and re-install something worth considering? Luke 37133
Hi, try going into the app settings and uncheck the option to remember the server info.
AxeMan 22
Hi, try going into the app settings and uncheck the option to remember the server info. Sorry for being dense @@Luke but I cannot see this option anywhere. I tried to run the configurator app, but seems like there's no server tab there. I edited the MediaBrowserCommon file I found from one of the other threads - no dice after a reboot.
AxeMan 22
okay - i think i got it ... edit the config file manually (the first attempt was on a different profile). after manually setting the IP there, boom back to Emby I know and love. Thanks for jumping on this @@Luke
Solution ebr 14939 Posted July 13, 2017 Solution Share Posted July 13, 2017 The very last page of config settings in the app should have been "Advanced". However, that would only have shown if you were logged in with an admin account. On that page, there was an option of whether or not to remember the connected server. Best thing to do is set that option to "Find Automatically".
