cemmec 0
I have a huge history of watched movies and series on trakt and I want to start using trakt plugin but I am afraid that the plugin will erase my history on trakt site. On emby nothing is marked as watched. How can I configure the plugin to import my history to emby? Thanks
Luke 37180
Hi, while I am not a trakt user myself, have you explored the settings of the trakt plugin?
cemmec 0
Yes I did, but I am a little confused (and afraid) to do something wrong that looses history
Luke 37180
The plugin has this setting: Update watched history on Trakt By default, watched status will be synchronized. This changes it so that emby just copies the status of trakt, and the only time data watched status is changed on trakt is when a video just finished playing (just scrobbles, no history changes). I would imagine that unchecking it is what you want.
paulsalter 84
Hi, After you have setup trakt, go into the server schedules task and run the following It will pull down the watched status for all items in your library I run this (or similar) on anything i install trakt with, might not be needed, but i like to make sure my library reflects trakt before it starts doing any auto syncs I re installed Emby from scratch a couple of months ago and have had no issues with any trakt data
