First time playing a video where I wanted to turn on subtitles. In the web app I can see the subtitle I want to select but clicking on it doesn't turn them on.

Sure think @@Luke.

Safari and iPad accessing web client. Trying to play an anime MKV file that has embedded ASS subtitles. Defaulting to subtitles off. When selecting the "CC" icon at the bottom of the screen, embedded subtitle is listed but you can not selecting. its stuck at "Off".

File is 350 megs @@Luke. How would I get that to you?

Note that I noticed that the files subtitle track was labeled "unidentified" and was not set as default. I changed it in MKVToolNix setting it to English - Default - Forced. Now it plays as default but is impossible to turn off so its pretty much the same issue.

I can turn the subtitles on and off in VLC but I do notice that for this particular file (anime), VLC wants to update the font cache. Wonder if that has something to do with it?

To turn it off, just select Off. You could upload a sample to something like dropbox or google drive. thanks.

Well thats the issue. The web interface for this particular file doesn't let me select Off.

Will try and upload a sample and let you know.

Thanks, it's resolved for the next release. It is only happening on videos where the first track is a subtitle track. Thanks.
